Following the first-generation iPhone SE, Apple has added another iPhone to its vintage list. This time, the iPhone 11 Pro has been added to the list.

Apple has updated its vintage list, adding an iPhone and several other products. The company has added the iPhone 11 Pro, launched in 2019, as well as the Apple Watch Series 5, the 2020 13-inch MacBook Air with an Intel processor, the iPad Air 3, and the iPhone 8 Plus to the vintage list. It's worth noting that Apple also added the first-generation iPhone SE to this list last month.
The iPhone 11 Pro is a modern smartphone.
Compared to other products, the iPhone 11 Pro's inclusion in the widget list has been a topic of discussion. Even though this iPhone has been around for quite some time, it's still used by millions and is considered a modern smartphone. It boasts a powerful camera setup and an OLED display. It also supports Apple's latest software update, iOS 26.
What does Apple consider a vintage product?
Apple considers products vintage if they've been discontinued for five years. If a product is listed as vintage, it means Apple no longer guarantees its repair. This means you can take a vintage product to an Apple Authorized Service Center for repair, but there's no guarantee it will be repaired. Repairs will only be performed if the parts are available at the service center.
Products become obsolete after seven years.
While products are added to the vintage list after five years of discontinuation, they are placed on the obsolete list after seven years. Apple ceases to provide hardware support for these products. Taking an obsolete product to an Apple service center will not provide repairs or replacement parts. Therefore, the user's only option is to have it repaired at a third-party service center.
