Google has introduced a new feature on its video conferencing platform Google Meet that will allow iOS users to include audio while sharing their screen.

The technology giant announced this update in a recent Workspace Updates blog post. It was said that mobile users can now share audio with their screen-share during presentations or while sharing video with sound or music.

Audio-sharing feature introduced
The company has mentioned in a blog post that it will now be able to share videos with sound. The new feature is currently available for iOS users and is expected to roll out to Android devices in mid-August.

Apart from the audio-sharing feature, Google has also made changes to the Share Drive limits. Now, a Google Group can only be added to a maximum of 30,000 shared drives, whereas previously there was no limit on the number of shared drives that could be added to a group.

The background image can be edited
Earlier this month, Google tested a new feature under Workspace Labs where users can create background images during meetings using artificial intelligence (AI). Although this feature is designed to improve the user experience, Google has advised users not to share any personal or sensitive information while using it.

The update was the introduction of the company's Companion Mode check-in feature which ensures that all meeting participants are visible to others. Furthermore, Google introduced a Spectator Mode in Google Meet to create a more focused environment during large meetings.

Q&A and poll feature during live stream meet found on Google Meet
Google has given this information in an official blog post that meeting hosts on Meet will now be able to use Q&A and poll service. This feature was earlier available only on traditional meat. The company says that this feature will offer users the next level and collaborative experience in meetings.
