IPL 2025 and England Tour Begin India’s Next Phase
Before stepping into international action again, Indian players will participate in IPL 2025, which starts on March 22. Their next big challenge will be a five-match Test series against England (June-August 2025), marking the beginning of the 2025-27 World Test Championship cycle. India will be eager to end their long wait for a Test series victory in England, with their last triumph dating back to 2007.
This series might also witness a leadership transition as India navigates changes in the longest format. The team's recent struggles against Australia and New Zealand could bring about a new Test captain before the fresh season begins.
T20 World Cup 2026 & Asia Cup on the Horizon
