FIH Pro League: India once again overpowered Pakistan, registering a historic 7-1 win, scoring seven consecutive!

The Indian men's hockey team once again defeated Pakistan in the FIH Pro League. Despite trailing at one point, India bounced back, scoring seven consecutive goals to secure a historic 7-1 victory.

The Indian men's hockey team defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by a massive 7-1 margin in an FIH Pro League match played at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London . After falling behind by a goal early in the match, India made a strong comeback and did not give the Pakistani team any chance to recover. Sukhjeet Singh, Harmanpreet Singh , Hardik Singh, Jugraj Singh, Abhishek, Raj Kumar Pal, and Dilpreet Singh scored a goal each for India. Hardik Singh was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. Earlier, the Indian team had defeated Pakistan 4-3 on June 23.

Pakistan took the lead in the first quarter

Both teams started the match aggressively. India earned a penalty corner within the first two minutes, but failed to convert it. Pakistan then capitalized on a counterattack, and in the 13th minute, captain Abu Bakr Mahmood converted a penalty corner with a drag flick to give his team a 1-0 lead. Pakistan held on to this lead throughout the first quarter.

India turned the match around in the second quarter.

The Indian team made a remarkable comeback in the second quarter. Sukhjeet Singh brilliantly deflected Harmanpreet Singh's drag-flick from a penalty corner in the 20th minute to make it 1-1. Harmanpreet Singh then scored an own goal from another penalty corner in the 26th minute to give India a 2-1 lead. By halftime, the Indian team had completely dominated the match.

Indian attack on Pakistan crumbles in the second half

After halftime, the Indian team maintained the pressure. Hardik Singh scored on a penalty stroke to increase the lead to 3-1. Soon after, Jugraj Singh scored the fourth goal in a swift counterattack. In the 41st minute, Abhishek scored a field goal off a brilliant pass from Sukhjeet Singh to make the score 5-1.

Raj Kumar Pal then added the sixth goal in the 44th minute. India's dominance continued in the final quarter, and Dilpreet Singh scored a brilliant goal in the 54th minute to seal a memorable 7-1 victory. With this win, the Indian team secured a full three points in the Pro League.
