Shilpa not only explained the importance of yoga, but also showed how some easy yoga asanas can make our everyday life better.
Yoga gives strength
Shilpa shared a video on Instagram, in which she was seen doing yoga. In this video, she told about some special yogasanas, which make the lower muscles of the legs flexible and strong. She wrote in the caption of her post, 'When you are on the yoga mat, just be in the moment.' Shilpa told that these yogasanas especially help in stretching the hips, hamstrings (muscles on the back of the thigh), inner thighs and groin (the part between the stomach and thigh). These asanas not only make the body flexible, but also make everyday small movements like bending down, sitting or squatting easier. If you feel stiffness in the hips, then these asanas also help in reducing it. Also, they increase the blood flow in the ankles and knees, making them stronger.
Physical balance and pelvic muscles also benefit
According to Shilpa Shetty, these yogasanas help in stretching and strengthening the pelvic muscles. Pelvic muscles are in the lower part of our body and it is very important to keep them strong.
