Pakistan vs Bangladesh 1st ODI Score: The Pakistan cricket team was all out for just 114 runs in the first ODI. The Pakistani batting line-up was ineffective against Bangladesh's tight bowling. In this match, being played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, Faheem Ashraf was the highest run-scorer for the Pakistani team, scoring 37 runs. Meanwhile, 6.5-foot-tall bowler Nahid Rana took 5 wickets for Bangladesh.
In this match, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sahibzada Farhan and Maj Sadaqat provided Pakistan with a solid start with a 41-run opening partnership. Then came a rapid fall of wickets, with nine Pakistani batsmen dismissed within the next few runs.
At one stage, Pakistan were 41 runs without losing a wicket, but they were 9 wickets down at 82. Sahibzada Farhan made 27, while all the batsmen, from Salman Agha (5) to Mohammad Rizwan (10), kept coming and going.
The 6 and a half foot bowler wreaked havoc
Bangladesh's 6-foot-5 fast bowler, Nahid Rana, wreaked havoc. He conceded just 24 runs in seven overs and took five wickets. This marked the first time Rana had taken five wickets in an innings in his ODI career. He took the wickets of Sahibzada Farhan, Maaz Sadaqat, Shamim Hussain, Mohammad Rizwan, and Salman Agha. Faheem Ashraf saved Pakistan's honour, having lost nine wickets at the score of 82. His 37-run innings helped Pakistan reach the 100-run mark.
Bangladesh has restricted Pakistan to a score of less than 150 in an ODI for the first time. Previously, Pakistan's lowest ODI score against Bangladesh was 161.
