Rahul Gandhi is misleading the country: Piyush Goyal.
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said, "Rahul Gandhi's attempt to mislead the nation on the US trade deal is regrettable and has nothing to do with India's progress. India has protected the interests of the sensitive sectors of agriculture and dairy in the trade deal with the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken into account the interests of the animal husbandry, agriculture, and dairy sectors in this agreement."
'India has struck a good deal with the US.'
Piyush Goyal said he wanted to speak about the agreement in Parliament, but was unable to do so due to the uproar from Congress and other opposition parties. The minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed the much-anticipated trade deal with the United States, and the country is congratulating him. He said that India secured a good deal with the United States due to the personal relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump.
