Ingredients for making Pyaazi
- Onion- 2
- Gram flour - one cup
- Rice flour – half a cup
- Turmeric - one teaspoon
- Salt- as per taste
- Ajwain - one teaspoon
- Garam masala - half a teaspoon
- Oil
- Green chilli – 1-2 finely chopped
Method of making Pyazi
- To make pyaazi, cut the onion into small pieces. Now put gram flour in a bowl and mix rice flour in it. Add onion and salt in it. Now add green chillies, turmeric powder and celery to this mixture. Mix it well and prepare it in the form of a tight dough.
- If the dough is not ready, then mix some water in it. Make sure that it remains tight. To make it tight, you can add more gram flour or rice flour to it.
- Now put oil in a pan and heat it. Now make balls from the prepared dough. Fry the balls one by one. These have to be half fried. When they are half cooked, take them out.
- After removing it, let it cool a little and then with the help of a small plate or bowl, press it lightly and make it flat.
- Now heat the oil again in the pan and fry the flattened onions again. Fry it on both sides until it becomes crispy. The onions are ready. You can serve it with coriander or tamarind chutney.
