Sooji Cheela Recipe: Quick and easy to make Sooji Cheela recipe is a perfect dish for your morning breakfast. It is not only healthy but also tasty to eat and is prepared in no time.
Material :
-1 cup semolina
-1/2 cup curd
-1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 capsicum, finely chopped
-1 carrot, grated
-1 green chili, finely chopped
-1 tsp red chili powder
- pinch of coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
- cooking oil
- water as required
Method :
1. To make the cheela batter, mix semolina and curd in a bowl. Make sure the batter is uniform, thick, and slightly runny.
2. Now add vegetables to it and mix again. make sure the vegetables are thinly sliced or diced so that the batter is not heavy. Add some water if needed.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, red chili powder, and salt. Sprinkle a pinch of coriander and keep the batter for 15-20 minutes.
4. Now heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and lightly brush it with oil. When the oil starts leaving, spread the batter evenly on the pan.
5. When the cheela turns white from the top and starts rising from the griddle, gently turn it over and cook from the other side as well. Keep pressing so that it cooks evenly.
6. Remove from tawa and serve with green chutney or any dip of your choice.
