Ingredients for making chicken soup
Chicken (boneless): 200-250 grams
Water: 4 cups
Onion: 1 (chopped)
Garlic: 4-5 cloves
Ginger: 1 inch piece (grated)
Carrot: 1 (chopped)
Peas: 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves
Salt: according to taste
Black pepper powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
Butter or oil: 1 teaspoon
Cornflour: 1 teaspoon


Method
To make chicken soup, first wash and clean the chicken. After this, put chicken, water, a little salt, and ginger in a pressure cooker or pan. Cook it by giving 2-3 whistles in the cooker. When it is cooked, cut it into small pieces. After this, now you have to do Tadka.
To do Tadka, heat butter or oil in a deep pan. Now add garlic and onion and fry till it turns light golden. When it turns golden, add carrots and peas and fry for 2-3 minutes. After this, add cooked chicken pieces and stock in the pan. Now add salt and black pepper powder to this pan.
If you want to thicken the soup, then dissolve cornflour in 2 teaspoons of water add it to it, and stir. Let it cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Finally, add coriander leaves and lemon juice to the soup. Serve it hot by putting it in a bowl. You can also add sweet corn, broccoli, or other vegetables to it.
