The month of Sawan is going on and it is known for heavy rains. It is raining continuously in every part of the country, however, people's work is not stopping even in this rain. People are going out of their homes for work. In such weather, it happens many times we get wet in the rain and our phone also gets wet. Many times it also happens that the phone accidentally falls in the water. Usually, people keep the phone in rice, but by doing this unknowingly you make a big mistake. Let us know what to do and what not to do if the smartphone gets wet in the rain...

Turn it off immediately
In case the phone gets wet or falls in water, the first thing to do is that if the phone is on, turn it off and do not try to press any button or turn the phone on. This will prevent the risk of short circuits in the phone.

Remove the SIM card and memory card
If you have an old phone that has the facility to remove the battery, then remove the battery, memory card, and SIM card of the phone comfortably. If the phone has a non-removable battery, there will be a risk of a short circuit. Now dry the phone under a fan or with a hair dryer (blower). Wipe the water visible on the phone with a clean cloth or paper napkin.

Keep the phone straight
A few days ago, Apple said that if water enters your iPhone, then keep the phone straight with the charging port facing downwards. After this, keep the phone in a place where there is good airflow and charge the phone after about 30 minutes. After about 24 hours, the water will be removed from the phone. If water remains in the phone, users will also get a liquid detection alert.

Go to the service center
If the phone is not getting fixed even after trying all the remedies, then you should go to the service center without delay, because sometimes a short circuit occurs even after all the arrangements.
