The ninth International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the world. To spread the importance of Yoga at the global level, today many Indian spiritual leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have participated in the programs being organized on the international platform. At the same time, on the occasion of Yoga Day in India, school-college and government and non-governmental organizations organized Yoga Day programs.
In this sequence, GH Seven of Crossing Republic and Mahagun Mascot Society celebrated the 9th International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm. Around 100 participants practiced yoga under the guidance of yoga instructor Pinky Devalia from 6.45 am to 7.00 am in the club hall of GH Seven Society of Crossings Republic.

It is worth mentioning that every year since the year 2015 i.e. Yoga Day, all the residents of this society have been celebrating International Yoga Day together. After this, yoga instructor Pinky Devaliya made around 80 volunteers do yoga exercises from 7.15 am to 8.15 am at Mahagun Mascot Society of Crossing Republic. This year, events have been organized all over the world on the theme "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam".

In the same context, in both the events held in the Crossing Republic, yoga instructor Pinky Devaliya first addressed the residents and said that we should do yoga with the spirit of world welfare. If we do Yogasanas regularly, not only will we be able to get rid of our physical and mental ailments, but as healthy and happy citizens, we will also be able to make society healthy and happy.

Made aware of yoga process and health benefits
The yoga session started with a prayer followed by warm-up exercises, surya namaskar, quick relaxation, deep relaxation, special yoga asanas for various ailments, pranayama, meditation, and shavasana.
The yoga instructor suggested special asanas to cure diseases such as cervical, frozen shoulder, menstrual problems in women, poor eyesight in children, blood pressure and diabetes in youth, and imbalanced weight. He also told about the asanas which can be done while sitting on the chair in the office.
