Whenever we go to get any government or non-government work done, we are asked for an Aadhar card. But apart from this, there is one document which is very much needed and that is your PAN card. Whether you have to open a bank account, take a loan, get a credit card, file an income tax return, or make big transactions, etc.. A PAN card is also required for many other works, but those people face a lot of problems whose PAN cards have a mistake. Like the name, date of birth, photo, father's name etc. are wrong. If there is any mistake in your PAN card, you can get it rectified from your mobile while sitting at home. So let us know what is its method...

Method to correct wrongly printed items in PAN card-
Step 1

First of all, go to the official website of the NSDL e-Governance
Go here to the service section and then go to the PAN card option and click on change/correction PAN data.
Now you have to go to the Application Type drop-down menu and then click on Change/Correction in PAN Data or Reprint PAN.

Step 2
Then you have to go to the drop down select the PAN card type and fill in some information like name, email, date of birth, and mobile number.
Then fill in the captcha code along with the form and submit the form.
Now your request will be registered and you will receive a token number and a link in your email.

Step 3
Click on this link, after which you will directly reach the PAN update page
Here first fill in the necessary information and then click on the Next button
Now you have to upload the required documents and then make the payment through online mode only.

Step 4
You will get an acknowledgment slip after making the payment and upon confirmation
Take a printout of this slip
Now send the information sought on this slip, such as photo and signature, to the given address of the NSDL e-governance
Your documents will then be verified by the concerned department and once everything is found to be correct, your details will be updated.
