Officials said World Best News, a YouTube channel with over 1.7 million subscribers and over 180 million views, was found to be misrepresenting the Indian Army. He said that the channel Educational Dost has more than 30 lakh subscribers and more than 23 crore views. The channel was spreading misinformation about government schemes, while SPN9 News with over 4 million subscribers and 189 crore views was spreading fake news related to the President, Prime Minister, and several Union Ministers.

This channel was spreading fake news about the availability of petrol
