Drinking a certain amount of water daily helps in getting rid of many diseases, however, drinking water after eating certain things can be harmful to health. Some rules for drinking water have been mentioned in Ayurveda; water should not be drunk after eating certain things. Drinking water after consuming these things causes stomach-related problems like gas, acidity, and digestive problems. Banana
Soluble fiber is found in sufficient quantity in bananas. If you drink too much water after eating a banana, then there may be a problem of gas in the stomach, which slows down digestion, hence one should not drink water with or after eating a banana.

Citrus fruits
Citrus fruits like orange, grapefruit, and lemon are already juicy. These already contain a lot of water, so do not consume water with them, it will fill your stomach quickly.

Curd
Curd is a dairy product that is very beneficial for digestion. Probiotics are found in it, which is beneficial for your gut health. These probiotics are destroyed by drinking water immediately after eating curd.

Spicy food
People often drink water with spicy food. It is always beneficial to eat milk or curd when you feel chilly. Drinking water after eating spicy food further increases the burning sensation in the stomach.
