For as many days as people bring Bappa to their homes, they also offer various types of dishes to him. In today's article, we will tell you how to make Mawa Kheer, so that you too can please Lord Ganesha by offering it to him.
Ingredients needed to make Mawa Kheer
Milk – 1 liter
Sugar – 4 spoons
Mawa – 100 grams
Almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins – 1 bowl
Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Saffron – 2 teaspoons
Chironji – 2 spoons
Method
It is very easy to make Mawa Kheer at home for Bappa. To make this, first, take milk in a vessel and boil it. After it comes to a boil, reduce the flame and cook it on low flame.
After some time, add mawa in it and keep stirring continuously. After this, add chironji, almonds, cashews, pistachios and raisins to the milk and keep stirring continuously.
If you don't stir it, it may stick to the bottom of the vessel. When the milk thickens, add sugar to it. After adding sugar, cook it for 4-5 minutes.
After adding sugar, add cardamom powder and soaked saffron threads to it. After this, cook it for 20 minutes without covering. Your mawa kheer is ready. Take it out in a bowl and cool it. If you want, you can add more dry fruits to decorate it.
