In this regard, the company has now introduced long-term OTT Passes for Jio customers who watch movies, web series, live sports, and TV.
The company has introduced two new passes: an 84-day pass for ₹550 and a 365-day pass for ₹2,000. The existing ₹200 pass has a validity of 28 days. All three passes offer high-speed data, unlimited 5G, access to 15 premium OTT apps, and over 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV.

It's worth noting that this is the company's shortest OTT pass, with a validity of 28 days. This pass provides users with a total of 30GB of high-speed data. Additionally, users also receive unlimited 5G access.
This pack is for Jio customers who already have an active base plan. However, this OTT Pass is not available on voice-only plans.
550 rupees OTT Pass
This pass is specifically for users who enjoy watching OTT content for extended periods. The pass is priced at ₹550 and has a validity of 84 days. During this period, users receive a total of 90GB of high-speed data, including unlimited 5G access. This pass is available with a 3-month or 1-year active base plan.
2000 rupees OTT Pass
The company's most expensive OTT Pass costs ₹2,000. However, this pass is valid for a full 365 days, meaning you'll continue to receive benefits for a full year. This pass offers users 365GB of high-speed data and unlimited 5G access.
This option is only available to customers with an active one-year base plan from Jio. Therefore, it could be a valuable option for long-term OTT users.
Over 1,000 live TV channels as well
Not only OTT, but Jio OTT Pass also comes with access to over 1,000 live TV channels through JioTV. These include channels like Star Plus HD, Colors HD, SET HD, Sun TV HD, Discovery, and Cartoon Network.

According to Jio, these OTT Passes include several popular streaming platforms, including major names like YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, and Amazon Prime. YouTube Premium allows users to enjoy benefits like ad-free video, background play, and offline downloads.
Meanwhile, JioHotstar also offers users the option to watch live sports, original shows, and Hollywood content. Furthermore, the benefits of Amazon Prime vary depending on the OTT Pass. The ₹550 and ₹2,000 options offer access to Amazon Prime Lite, while the ₹200 pack offers Prime Video Mobile Edition.
Apart from this, platforms like SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, FanCode, Hoichoi, Chaupal, Planet Marathi, Kanccha Lannka, TimesPlay and Tarang Plus are also included.
How different is Jio's OTT Pass from Airtel?
Airtel, the country's second largest telecom company, also offers its users several plans that combine OTT and mobile data. Airtel's ₹549 plan comes with a validity of 28 days. This plan provides users with 3GB of data per day, unlimited calling, unlimited 5G, 3 months of JioHotstar, and access to 22+ OTT platforms through Airtel Xstream Play. The ₹979 plan offers 84 days of validity, 2GB of data per day, and 3 months of JioHotstar.
Airtel also introduced all-in-one OTT entertainment packs starting at ₹279 in 2025, offering users benefits like Netflix Basic, ZEE5, JioHotstar, and Airtel Xstream Play Premium. There are also data bundle plans for ₹598 and ₹1,729.
