Virat Kohli, IPL Code of Conduct: Virat Kohli was fined a 10% match fee after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) match played in IPL on Monday (April 17) night. He was fined for breaking the IPL code of conduct during the match. Kohli has also accepted his mistake.
An IPL statement said, "RCB batsman Virat Kohli has been fined 10% of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match against Chennai Super Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru." Kohli has also accepted his mistake under the Level-1 offence categories of Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
Under Article 2.2 Level-1 of the IPL Code of Conduct, various types of offences have been explained. In this, there are some rules related to the dress of a player and his behaviour with the opposition team and the umpire.

Virat's team had to face defeat
It is like a double whammy for Virat Kohli. In fact, RCB also had to face a close defeat at the hands of CSK in this match. Batting first, CSK scored a mammoth score of 226 runs losing 6 wickets, in reply, RCB team could score only 218 runs till the scheduled overs. Here Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after playing just four balls. He was bowled by Akash Singh on a total of 6 runs.
