Security will be tight for the two IPL matches to be held at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. The visitors have to take care of many things while going inside. Many items are prohibited from being taken inside. Pen-pencil, whistle, helmet, coin to water bottle will not be able to be taken inside. The audience will be allowed inside almost empty. Spectators coming to watch Indian Premier League (IPL-2023) matches will not be able to carry with them banners related to Khalistan, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) at Viroli Stadium. IPL matches are to be held in Dharamshala on 17 and 19 May. Apart from food items, more than 30 items including bottles, cans, cameras, and selfie sticks have been banned in these matches. Special instructions have been given to cricket lovers not to bring banners opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Dharamshala.

Alcohol, Audio recorder, Bag, Backpack, Bottle, Cans, Camera, Coins, Flag, Inflammable material, Laptop, Lighter, Matchbox, Musical instrument, Poster, Banner, Power bank, Spray, Balloon, Block, Tobacco, Gutkha, Helmet, Wooden stick, pen-pencil, radio, selfie stick, sporting ball, etc.
Paytm Insider has learned that certain items are prohibited from being carried inside the stadium during the matches in Dharamsala.
