Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana has been fined Rs 12 lakh for his team's slow over-rate during their Indian Premier League match against Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens. The league said in its statement that this was their team's first offense of the season under the IPL's code of conduct. Because of this, a fine of Rs 12 lakh was imposed on Captain Nitish.
