Lucknow Supergiants fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq, who has been at the helm of controversy in the 16th season of the IPL, has said that he has no problem with "Kohli, Kohli" being chanted at the stadium. Naveen said that he enjoyed being teased by fans by his name and that gave him the passion to play well for his team. Naveen and Virat had clashed in the Lucknow vs Bangalore match. After this, in whatever stadium Naveen played, the fans teased him by calling him Virat Kohli. Naveen has also praised Gautam Gambhir, the mentor of the Lucknow team.

After the RCB-LSG match, once the Bangalore team played a match, Naveen shared an Instagram story with a picture of a mango. He was trolled a lot for this too. After taking four wickets in the eliminator against Mumbai Indians, Naveen said, "I enjoy these trolls. I like it when everyone on the ground chants his (Virat Kohli) name or any other player's name. It makes me proud of myself." You get the passion to play well for the team."

Naveen said- Well I don't focus on outside or outside noise or anything else. I just focus on my cricket and my process. It doesn't matter to me what slogans the fans are chanting or what anyone is saying. As a professional player, you have to deal with it in your way. When you don't do well for your team, the fans will do the same to you. But when you do well for your team, those people become your fans. It is part of the game.

Talking about team mentor Gautam Gambhir, Naveen said, "Everyone should support their players. Mentor, coach, player, or anyone. I will always stand for my team players on the field. Hope the same. Gambhir stood by the Afghan player after Naveen's on-field fight with Kohli.

Naveen said- Gambhir has been a great player for India. He is highly respected in India. He has given a lot to Indian cricket. As a mentor, a coach, and a legend of cricket, I respect him a lot and have learned a lot from him. I learned from him what I should do about my cricket inside the field and how to carry myself outside the field.
