The BCCI has decided to organize a cultural program at the start of the first match of each venue, which will include many famous artists.

These artists will perform

The report quoted sources as saying that the BCCI wanted to bring more flavor to the tournament this time so that spectators everywhere can enjoy the opening ceremony. Therefore, there is a plan to create a line-up of national and local artists for cultural programs everywhere. According to the current information, Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal and Bollywood actress Disha Patani will perform during the opening ceremony in Kolkata on March 22. ICC Chairman and former BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will also be present during this time.

Talks in final stage

According to the report, the board's talks with some famous artists for the event at 12 other places apart from Kolkata are almost in the final stage. The source said, 'The idea is to have a separate group of Bollywood artists perform for all the events and with limited time between innings, two to three artists can be included for these programs. For this, a list of artists and celebrities will be prepared by March 19.'

The source further said, 'This is happening on such a large scale for the first time, so some logistical problems are coming up. For this, BCCI and the state association are working together to ensure that the program can be completed properly without interruption in the matches.'
