BPSC 70th Mains Exam 2025: Key Updates and Calculator Usage

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is set to conduct the 70th Mains Examination starting from 25th April 2025. The admit cards have been released, and candidates are advised to download them at the earliest from the official BPSC website bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.

Key Updates and Calculator Usage:

  • Use of Calculators:
    • For the General Studies Paper I (on 28th April 2025), candidates are permitted to use ordinary calculators.
    • For the Mathematics and Statistics paper (on 30th April 2025), scientific calculators are allowed.
    • Note: Calculators are not allowed during the Optional Subject Paper on 29th April 2025.
  • Admit Card Issue: Some candidates have uploaded unclear or blank photos and signatures in their applications. These candidates are required to submit the proper documents by 25th April 2025, to avoid any issues during the exam.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  • Documents to Submit:
    • Candidates must submit a declaration form, available on the BPSC website, along with two color photographs attested by a gazetted officer.
    • These photos should be pasted in the designated areas on the e-Admit Card and the official copy to be shown at the exam center.
    • Candidates must bring a government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License) for identity verification.
  • Admit Card Download:
    • Visit the official website bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
    • Log in with your username and password, then download the admit card.
    • Print the admit card for use on the exam day.

The BPSC 70th Mains Exam will be held on the following dates:

  • 25th April 2025
  • 26th April 2025
  • 28th April 2025
  • 29th April 2025
  • 30th April 2025

Candidates who clear the Mains exam will be called for the interview. The final merit list will be based on both Mains and Interview marks. The exam is being conducted for a total of 2035 posts.
