UP Budget 2025: Finance Minister presented the details of the state's progress, said- per capita income was Rs 93,514

The UP government has presented the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the assembly. The size of this budget is Rs 8 lakh 8 thousand 736 crores. During this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna gave full details of the economic development of the state.

The UP government has presented the state budget for the year 2025-26. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said in his speech that there has been economic progress in the state under the Yogi government. This is the reason that per capita income has also increased.

He said that the per capita income of the state was only Rs 52,671 in the financial year 2016-2017. In just a period of three years, the per capita income increased to Rs 65,660 in 2019-2020.

After this, the economy of the whole world was shocked due to the horror of the Covid pandemic. After this, achieving an unprecedented annual growth rate of 14.9 percent in just three years, we have brought the per capita income to the level of Rs 93,514 in the year 2023-2024.

The Finance Minister said in his speech that in the year 2017-2018, when we got the opportunity to serve the people of the state, the economy of the state was in a complete mess and the GSDP was only at the level of Rs. 12.89 lakh crore. 

During the tenure of our government, we have doubled the economy of the state. 

In the year 2024-2025, the GSDP of the state is estimated to be 27.51 lakh crores. He said that I would also like to tell that we are now in the leading position among the states in the country which have increased the growth rate. In the year 2023-2024, the growth rate of India's GDP was 9.6 percent while the growth rate of our state has been 11.6 percent.
