WTC final match will not be of 5 days, Africa-Australia will continue to play at Lord's for this many days

World Test Championship Final (WTC Final): To establish their supremacy in Tests, World Test Championship is now organized, in which all the teams play the series for two years and then the final match is played after which the champion is decided.
So far two cycles of World Test Championship have been completed and the final match for the third time will now be played at the Mecca of cricket i.e. Lord's Cricket Ground in England. This time this match will be played between Australia and South Africa and this match will not be played for 5 days, but the match will be played for this many days.
WTC Final will be played from 11 June
This time South Africa and Australia have qualified for the final of the World Test Championship. Australia is currently the World Test Champion, and their eyes will be on capturing this title once again. This time the final of the World Test Championship will be played at Lord's between 11 and 15 June. In which both the teams will be seen struggling to win the title.
WTC final may be extended by one day due to reserve day
Let us tell you that ICC has also kept a reserve day for this match. If the match is not completed due to rain, then the match will be played on that reserve day as well and then the result of the champion will be decided. ICC has kept a reserve day on 16th June. The teams have not yet announced their squads for this match but it can be announced soon.
Australia will try to save the title
The Australian team is reaching the final for the second consecutive time in the third cycle. Earlier, they had captured the title by defeating Team India in 2023. The Australian team won the World Test Championship title by defeating India at the Oval in 2023 under the captaincy of Pat Cummins. This time also their goal will be to save their title. Whereas the South African team has reached this final for the first time and their aim will be to win an ICC trophy for the first time.
