Naina Devi Temple
Regarded as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas located all over India, the "Naina Devi Temple" is a holy site situated on the northern bank of Naini Lake in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. This temple is one of the most famous places of Hindu worship in the entire country. Dedicated to the eyes of Goddess Sati, devotees from all parts of India visit this area throughout the year. The temple was built in 15 A.D., while the idol of Naina Devi was installed in the temple in 1842 by a devotee of the goddess named Moti Ram Shah. Unfortunately, the temple collapsed in 1882 due to a massive landslide. It was rebuilt again in 1883 by residents of the area. This shows his immense faith in the Goddess as well as his firm belief in his religion and values. The presiding deity of the Naina Devi temple is Maa Naina Devi or Mata Sati. According to Hindu mythology, the temple was built in the same place. It is said to be the place where the eyes of Goddess Sati fell on the earth.

This road built with the help of Naini Lake connects Mallital and Tallital. Here you will find an atmosphere of hustle and bustle all the time. The beautiful Tiffin Top is surrounded by Cher, Oak, and Deodar trees. Naini Lake and Kumaon Hills look very beautiful when seen from here. The majestic view of Nanda Devi can also be seen on clear days. The attraction was named Tiffin Top after people used to eat lunch on top of the hill at Dorothy's Seat. The panoramic views of Tiffin Top serve as a perfect setting for an adventurous trip. The surrounding peaks of the Aryapatta Hills and the spectacular landscape of Nainital make it a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The place is named after Dorothy Kellett, an English painter who used to paint sitting at this place.
Kanchi Dham
Kanchi Dham, also known as Neem Karauli Baba Ashram, is a small ashram and temple of Lord Hanuman situated on the Nainital-Almora road. This temple has been built in dedication to Shri Neem Karoli Baba Ji who was a Hindu Guru and ardent devotee of Hanuman Ji, who is known to have performed many miracles during his lifetime. Apart from this, the environment around this ashram is also green and quite golden. Neem Karoli Baba Ashram serves as the perfect image of silence and solitude, as it is nestled in the foothills, surrounded by lush greenery. Devotees can also stay in this ashram situated in Kanchi Dham. Hanuman Chalisa is recited several times a day in the ashram. The temple hosts a huge fair every year on 15th June which is attended by locals and visitors alike.

This place, which is called the entrance of Naini Lake, is a charming Nainital sightseeing place. This is the abode of fresh fruits and flowers and many types of butterflies.
