NalSarovar Bird Sanctuary is located about 64 kilometers west of Ahmedabad, Gujarat's largest city. This sanctuary exists around NalSarovar Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in the country. Here you will get a chance to see different types of bird species very closely. This bird sanctuary is home to more than 250 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, geese, cranes, ducks and many more. Eaglenest Sanctuary

454 species of birds have been seen in Eaglenest Sanctuary located in Arunachal Pradesh. Eaglenest Sanctuary is no less than a paradise for people who love birdwatching. A popular destination for bird watchers. Many rare and endangered bird species can be seen here. Known for its important bird diversity including. Eaglenest is the place where the endangered bird Bugunleocichla was first discovered in 1995. Birds found here include Bugunleocichla, Ward's trogon and Sclater'smonal. Thattekad Bird Sanctuary

Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, located in the Indian state of Kerala, is a great place to visit for bird lovers and nature lovers. It is located in Kothamangalamtaluk of Ernakulam district, about 48 kilometers northeast of Kochi. This bird sanctuary is home to many beautiful species of birds like the Oriental Darter, Indian Hawk Cuckoo and the magnificent Ceylon Frogmouth. This bird sanctuary is also home to a variety of koalas and a part of it is known as Koala Paradise.

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary located in Srirangapatna, Karnataka is a paradise for bird lovers as various species of birds are found here. It is the largest bird sanctuary in the state and is located near the banks of river Kaveri. Of the 170 species of birds that live here, the most notable are the painted stork, common spoonbill, Asian openbill stork, black-headed ibis and woolly-necked stork.
