By Jitendra Jangid- Friends, donation is very important in Hinduism, people resort to donation to erase their sins and increase virtue, this act is not only seen as a means of helping others, but is also considered a way to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi, who control the prosperity of the world. But if you donate on these days, it can be bad for your luck, let's know about them-
1. Donation on Thursday
Thursday is considered an extremely auspicious day for the worship of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. It is not advisable to lend money or donate on this day, doing so causes financial loss.
2. Donating after sunset
Donating is an important and virtuous act, but it is advisable to do it during the day. Religious scholars insist that certain items like curd, milk, turmeric and Tulsi plant should never be donated after sunset.
3. Donating immediately after death
Donating during the mourning period after a death, especially till the 13th day, is considered inappropriate. Donating during this time leads to Pitra Dosh, which is a karmic consequence that affects family members and their well-being.
4. Donating on Diwali
Deepawali, the festival of lights, marks the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi in the home. On this auspicious occasion, it is believed that donating during the festival may anger Goddess Lakshmi, causing her to leave the home. As a result, the family may face financial hardships, debt and conflict.
5. Inauspicious donations on Dhanteras
Dhanteras marks the beginning of Diwali festivities and is considered an important day for wealth and prosperity. Donating salt during the evening on Dhanteras should be avoided. This is considered an inauspicious act, as it is believed to bring misfortune.
