Chakrata is a famous hill station situated in the lap of nature. It is famous as the king of the mountains. Chakrata is located just 90 km from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, and is located at an altitude of 2118 meters above sea level. Devban bird watching
About 13 km from Chakrata Hill Station, Devban is a great tourist spot surrounded by forests. Located at an altitude of 2200 meters, Devban is surrounded by cedar forests and ice mountains around. Examples of the Himalayas can be seen here. Sparrows of one-to-one unique species can be seen here. Mundali

Lakha Mandal

Lakhmandal located on Mussoorie-Yamunotri Road has historical and mythological significance. Lakhmandal is 3-4 km from a place called Bernigad on the banks of the Yamuna River at the northern end of the Yamuna River. Lakhmandal is situated at an altitude of 1372 meters above sea level, 60 km from Lakhmandal Chakrata, and 75 from Mussoorie at a distance of 128 km from Dehradun. Lakh Mandal is particularly considered to be related to the Mahabharata period. The remains of millions of idols have been found in the excavation done by the Archaeological Department here, this is also a reason that it was named Lakhmandal. The Kauravas are believed to have built a Lakshagriha to burn the birds, and where they had conspired to burn alive with Mata Kunti. That cave is still present in the Lakhmandal, through which the Pandavas Came out safely, and after that, the Pandavas lived in Chakranagari for a month, which is today known as Chakrata. Many temples dedicated to Pandavas, Parashuram, Kedar, and Diva are also built here. The shape of Bhima and Arjuna is very beautifully engraved on the stone here.

Hyau top
Hyau Top or Hayau Danda is located at a distance of 18 km from Chakrata. You can be reached by road to Hayau village 14 km from Chakrata to go to the top and then by 2 km track. The huge view of the huge series of the Himalayas is visible from the Hyou Top. It is known that there is a beautiful village under Hayau Chakrata Tehsil, if you come here, you will get a chance to see the culture of Jaunsar closely, and you can also rest here.

Budher Top
Budher is about 25 km from the top of Chakrata. Budher is famous for caves and grasslands, its local name is Moila Top. Which is located at an altitude of about 2750 meters above sea level. It is located 4 kilometers from the Chakrata market, from here an amazing view of sunset can be seen.

Hanol
