Shree Jagdish Temple
One of the most popular temples in Udaipur, Shree Jagdish Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This three-storied temple was built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh. Designed in the Indo-Aryan architectural style, the temple has a pyramidal shikhara, mandapa, and verandah. The shikhara of this temple is about 79 feet tall and you can easily see it from a distance. The main temple has a black stone idol of Lord Vishnu with four arms and four smaller shrines around it. Dream culture has played a very important role in the construction of this temple. That's why it is also called the temple made of dreams. This temple is built in the Panchayatan style.

Bohra Ganesh Temple
This temple is one of the most prominent temples of Udaipur which is more than 350 years old. It is located near Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Ganpati Nagar. Standing here Ganesh ji is worshipped. It is said that 80 years ago some people from nearby villages visited this temple and told their problems to Ganesha. After that, all his problems went away. Since then this temple has a distinct identity of its own in Udaipur.

Ekling Ji Temple
This temple is located in Kailashpuri, this temple was built by Bappa Rawal in the eighth century and the ramparts of this temple were built by Rana Mokal. Ekling ji is considered to be the family deity of the kings of Mewar and the Maharana of Mewar considers himself as the Diwan of Ekling ji. The present form of the temple was given by Maharana Raimal. This is called the temple of the family deity of Udaipur kings. There is a huge park around the temple. A huge fair is held here in Shivratri. This temple is the most prominent place of the Pashupat sect in the state.

Mahalaxmi Temple
Mahalakshmi Temple is dedicated to the goddess of wealth and prosperity. The goddess is considered the family deity of the Shrimali community, and the temple is managed by the Shrimali Jati Sampati Trust. Though the temple is visited by many devotees daily, the number increases manifold during the festival of Diwali. Long queues can also be seen on the birthday of the Goddess on the eighth day of Shraddha Paksha.

Karni Mata Temple
There is a beautiful temple of Karni Mata situated on the hills of Machla Magar near Doodh Talai Lake in Udaipur. You can reach here by climbing the stairs or with the help of a ropeway. This temple is also famous for its location and the wonderful view from here. From here you will get a beautiful view of the city of Udaipur as well as a beautiful view of the Aravalli hills and Lake Pichola.

Mahakaleshwar Temple
Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. It is situated near Fateh Sagar Lake, opposite Panna Vilas with a spectacular backdrop. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva (Mahakal) and is believed to be more than 900 years old. According to folklore, popular saint and Lord Shiva devotee Guru Gorakhnath worshiped at this shrine. The main shrine of this beautifully carved temple houses a black stone Shivling. Aarti is performed daily in the temple, but Rudrabhishek Aarti is the main attraction, which attracts a large number of devotees. There are also several other smaller temples dedicated to other gods and goddesses within the complex.

Amba Mata Temple
This is the famous temple of Mata Amba situated on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur. There is an interesting story attached to it. It is said that in the 17th century, Maharaja Raj Singh had a terrible eye disease, for which he was going to visit the famous Ambika Mata temple in Gujarat, but before that, Maa Amba appeared in his dream and told him a place in Udaipur. The next day the king got the excavation done there, from which the idol of Maa Amba came out. After that Maharaja got a huge temple of Amba Mata built there and his eye problem was completely cured.
