IPL 2025: An interesting name has emerged in the pre-season of IPL 2025. Malay Raj of Bihar has been included in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team as a net bowler. Now Malay will practice in the nets with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and other legendary batsmen at the prestigious Chepauk Stadium in Chennai . This move has also increased the recognition of Bihar cricket, as Malay has been selected on the basis of performance.

Malay, who currently plays Ranji Trophy for Bihar, has performed well in Ranji and now he will show his bowling skills in front of the Indian team players. The secretary of Bihar Cricket Association has issued an NOC (No Objection Certificate) for Malay's participation in the CSK camp, and now he will be a part of this practice session of Chennai.
Chennai Super Kings started their preparations at the Chepauk Stadium from February 25 , and Malai is making the CSK batsmen work hard here. Apart from Malai, Bihar's Zeeshan and Nazir are also practicing. CSK is bearing the travel and other expenses of these players, making this a great opportunity for them.
21-year-old Malay has played in the BCCI -organised T20 matches , Mushtaq Ali Trophy , Vijay Hazare Trophy , and Ranji Trophy for the last three years. He studied at St. Michael's School in Patna and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from KIIT University Bhubaneswar . His father Mrityunjay Tiwari has expressed happiness over his great achievement and has seen it as a big recognition.
Malay 's selection as a net bowler in Chennai Super Kings is an important step for Bihar cricket, and his hard work and success will inspire the cricketers of the state.
