CM Office Bomb Threat: There has been a threat of bombing the Chief Minister's office in Kerala. In recent days, threats of bombing have been received at many places in the state.

 

CM Office Bomb Threat: Kerala Secretariat, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's office and his official residence 'Cliff House' received a bomb threat this morning (April 28). The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said that the bomb squad has been dispatched to the spot and a search operation is being carried out in the capital Thiruvananthapuram.

According to news agency ANI, the threats were made via email. After this, bomb disposal squads were immediately dispatched and security checks were increased. The Chief Minister's Office said that search operations are still going on at all places. Police and bomb detection teams are cordoning off the areas and conducting a thorough investigation. So far, nothing suspicious has been found.

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport also received a bomb threat

This incident has come to light after many threats received in recent days. On Sunday, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport received a bomb threat via email, but after investigation it turned out to be fake. Apart from this, on Saturday, many hotels in the city, such as Hilton Garden Inn and Gokulam Grand Hotel, also received bomb threats. After this, the hotels were evacuated and searched, but no explosives were found.

Security agencies on alert

Officials are investigating the reason behind the threats. This is affecting the daily routine of people and has also increased fear. These incidents are happening at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Kerala on May 2. Law and order teams are taking these threats very seriously, even though similar incidents have happened before. Security has been tightened across the city and people have been asked to be vigilant and report anything suspicious immediately.

Kerala Police has said that they are trying their best to find out the reason behind the threats and to ensure the safety of all the people. At present, the search and investigation is going on and further information is awaited.
