Swiggy has launched a new feature for its customers. This allows them to order food from up to five different restaurants at once, eliminating the need to repeatedly place and pay for separate orders.
The company launched
this feature ahead of the festive season. Its goal is to provide customers with easy access to their favorite food and reduce the hassle of placing separate orders. Swiggy has launched this feature in more than 720 cities across the country. Customers can avail of it by visiting the app.
How will the new feature work?
This new feature is called "Multi-Restaurant Ordering." It allows customers to choose their favorite food from different restaurants and order it all at once. For example, if someone wants biryani, someone wants roti sabji, or someone wants momos, there's no need to make multiple payments or order one item after another. Instead, they can order all of these items from different restaurants at once.
Not only this, customers can create multiple carts, compare them, and place orders from up to five restaurants with a single payment. This will also eliminate the hassle of repeated payments and OTPs.
How will delivery work?
Customers will order food from five restaurants with a single payment, but the food will be prepared and delivered separately at each restaurant. Customers will be able to view the status of all orders on a single screen. This means that information about which restaurant's food is being prepared and which order's delivery location will be available in one place.
