Actually, the central government changes the rules related to ration cards and gas cylinders every day. For your information, let us tell you that the central government has implemented new rules for gas cylinders in the entire country, which will affect all sections. 

If you are also going to fill gas cylinder, then first apply the new rules. These rules are starting from 21st April 2025 for Central Government Scheme Ration Card and Gas Cylinder 2025. Let us tell you that the period of this scheme is from 21 April to 31 December 2028, in which 6-8 gas cylinders per family will be provided every year. The process of gas cylinder booking has been changed. Under the issued rules, gas cylinder booking, delivery and subsidy process has been digitized. 

KYC update is required 

Now before booking the gas cylinder, the consumer will have to update his KYC. For this, the consumer will have to update his Aadhaar card number, mobile number and other information to the agency. For this, your Aadhaar number should be linked with your mobile number. Consumers whose KYC will not be updated may face problems. 

OTP verification required

Rules for delivery of gas cylinders after booking have been applied. Actually, OTP verification is required during delivery of gas cylinder. Let us tell you that this OTP has come to you during gas cylinder booking, which the delivery boy has to give. If a user does not provide his OTP he will not get the cylinder.

Subsidy

Now after the delivery of the gas cylinder, the third rule applies to the subsidy. In order to benefit from the gas cylinder subsidy, the consumer's bank account, Aadhaar and gas connection should be linked. Let us know that the government can change the subsidy amount from time to time. No amount is fixed. Also let us know that the subsidy will not be given for booking more gas cylinders than required.
