People seek investment options to grow their savings and meet future financial needs. Methods like SIP and STP, which have different investment processes, can be helpful.

SIP or STP? A new way for the wealthy to invest, starting at ₹50,000 per month.
Nowadays, everyone wants to save a portion of their income and invest it in a way that can build a substantial amount for the future. Employed individuals typically invest by saving a small amount each month, while investors with larger funds try to grow their money through various methods.
In fact, the investment approach of the wealthy has changed. SIP and STP are two investment options that even high-profile investors are now using. Significantly, Portfolio Management Services (PMS) now have clients investing between ₹50,000 and ₹1 crore per month. Therefore, if you want to invest ₹50,000 per month, it's important to understand SIP and STP.
What are SIP and STP?
In a SIP (Systematic Investment Plan), an investor invests a fixed amount of their income each month into a mutual fund. Typically, starting with as little as ₹500 per month, this option is beneficial for those who want to accumulate wealth over the long term through regular savings.
Meanwhile, in an STP (Systematic Transfer Plan), a large amount of pre-invested funds is gradually transferred from one investment option to another. Instead of investing your entire corpus in the stock market at once, you can invest in installments. For example, you could keep your money in a liquid fund and transfer a small amount to an equity fund every month.
Invest Rs 50,000 per month in PMS.
In a portfolio management service (PMS), investors' funds are managed by professional portfolio managers. They invest in stocks and other assets according to an investment strategy. However, the minimum investment limit for PMS is usually ₹50 lakh. Therefore, it is not possible to start investing with just ₹50,000. Even investing ₹50,000 per month requires meeting the necessary initial requirements.
Where to invest your earnings?
If you want to invest ₹5,000 or ₹50,000 from your salary each month, a mutual fund SIP could be a good option. However, if you already have a large amount saved, consider STP. However, keep in mind that your investment decision should be based on your financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance.
