PIB Fact Check: In this era of social media, information spreads at a rapid pace, and misleading and false information also reaches people at a rapid pace. In this context, a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is rapidly going viral, in which he is seen promoting an investment platform.

PIB Fact Check made shocking revelations

The viral video claims that an investment platform called "Quantum AI" can generate substantial monthly earnings of up to ₹3.5 lakh (approximately $3.5 million USD) with an initial investment of just ₹21,000-₹22,000. PIB Fact Check, the Indian government's official fact-checking wing, investigated the viral video and found it to be an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated deepfake. The PIB's fact-checking unit has completely refuted the claim, calling it an online investment scam.  

What did PIB say?

In a statement released on the social media platform X, PIB Fact Check stated that the video is fake and was created using AI. The Indian government has not approved any such investment platform or scheme. Never click on suspicious links or share your personal or financial information. Always verify information from official sources before investing.
