This extends Pakistan's wait for a Test win in the three-match Test series against England (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). The team last won a red-ball match in the three-match Test series 18 years ago.

Pakistan's last victory in the SEA came eight years ago, in May 2018, at Lord's. Since then, the team has played 18 Tests, losing 16 of them. The remaining two ended in draws. It will be interesting to see when this shameful streak will be broken.

Pakistan suffer humiliating defeat at Lord's

In the second Test against England at Lord's, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl. England, batting first, were bowled out for 290 in their first innings. From there, it seemed Pakistan was in a strong position. The team would take the lead with a strong first innings performance, but Babar's men were bowled out for just 110.

England, batting in the second innings, were all out for 208, setting Pakistan a target of 389. Chasing this target, Pakistan were bowled out for just 194. Ollie Robinson took the most wickets for England, with four, while Josh Tongue took three, and Jofra Archer two.

Pakistan has lost the three-match Test series. England won the first match at Headingley in Leeds by a massive innings and 103 runs. England then defeated Pakistan by 194 runs at Lord's in London to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The third and final Test of the series will be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham from September 9th. It will be interesting to see which team wins the third match.
