Eshanya, who lost her husband in a terrorist attack in front of her eyes, shared this information with Dainik Jagran correspondent on phone on Tuesday night and broke down while speaking.
She narrated her painful story in sobs
Eshanya told sobbingly that she had gone for a walk with the whole family for the first time after marriage. They had reached Pahalgam on Tuesday. They had reached the gate by riding horses on the higher part of Pahalgam.
She, Shubham and sister Shambhavi were sitting together at a distance of about 50 meters from there. Mummy-Papa were near the gate. Meanwhile, a terrorist came and asked whether you are a Muslim or a Hindu. She could not understand what he said.
Then he asked again that if you are a Muslim then recite Kalma. We thought his words were a joke and said that no brother we are not Muslims. As soon as he said this, he shot my husband.
My husband died in front of my eyes and I could not do anything. The terrorists would have killed me too, but my sister and mother-father dragged me down.
The Chief Minister spoke to the father of the deceased, expressed condolences
Sanjay Dwivedi, father of the deceased Shubham, told that on Tuesday night Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to him on mobile phone. Expressing condolences, he said that he will call again in 10 minutes. After this, another call came from the CM office that the Chief Minister will call again.
Before this, District Magistrate and Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana also spoke. Satish Mahana also spoke to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on phone. Inquired about the situation there. Satish Mahana said that the incident is shocking. A befitting reply will be given to the cowardly act of the terrorists.
Shubham's family has a strong political background
The family of the deceased Shubham Dwivedi, who died in the terrorist attack, has a very strong political background in Maharajpur area. The fame of Chandan Chakki Pratishthan in the social sector is far reaching.
According to Shubham's uncle Jyotishacharya Pandit Manoj Dwivedi, his father Chandan Prasad Dwivedi was the Pradhan of Hathipur for 18 years from 1977 to 1995. After this, uncle Subhash Dwivedi was the Pradhan from 1995 to 2005.
Shubham's father Sanjay is a big cement businessman of the area. Sanjay's younger brother Manoj is gaining fame in the field of astrology. Cousin Shailendra Dwivedi is a senior BJP leader. The family is very close to Vidhan Sabha Speaker Satish Mahana and former minister Anant Mishra.
