Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday attacked the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan on the issue of corruption and women's safety.

Rajasthan tops the list when it comes to crime, riots, and atrocities against women, Dalits, and backward classes, Modi said at a rally in Chittorgarh.

The Prime Minister said that he feels sad when daughters are tortured anywhere in the country but he alleged that Congress has made it a tradition in Rajasthan.

He also assured the people that if the BJP comes to power in Rajasthan, all the public schemes started by the Congress government will continue.

He said- “Gehlot knows that the countdown of the Congress government has started. In a way, he has congratulated the BJP by making a public request not to stop the schemes. I assure you that the BJP will not stop any scheme of public interest but will try to improve it. This is Modi's guarantee.

The Prime Minister said that if his party comes to power, action will be taken against the corrupt and those involved in the alleged paper leak mafia.
