Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has sought applications for recruitment to the vacant Junior Engineer posts in various government departments of the state. A total of 9230 posts are going to be recruited through this recruitment process. * Educational Qualification required to apply:

Candidates applying for Junior Engineer, Civil posts through this recruitment process must have Diploma in a relevant stream from any recognized institute.

* Age limit prescribed for applying:

Candidates age should be between 18 years to 37 years to apply for these posts through this recruitment process. On the other hand, the OBC category has been given 3 years of relaxation in the maximum age limit and SC and ST category candidates have been given 5 years of relaxation. Age will be counted from 1 August 2023.

* Application Fee for Applicants :

Through this recruitment process, candidates of the general category and OBC category applying for these posts will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the SC and ST categories will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 150, while the application fee for all categories of other states has been fixed at Rs 600.

Candidates shortlisted for these posts through this recruitment process will be selected through merit prepared through written examination. The duration of the written test will be of two hours and MCQ-based questions will be asked.
