Defense Research and Development Organization, DRDO has invited applications to fill up the vacancies for Apprentice posts in the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL), Visakhapatnam, a flagship laboratory of DRDO.

Candidates interested in the job can apply online through DRDO's official site drdo.gov.in till 28th June 2023.

This recruitment drive will fill 62 posts in the organization.

Graduate Apprentice: 28 Posts

Diploma Apprentice: 23 Posts

Trade Apprentice: 11 Posts

DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Graduation / Diploma / ITI (passed during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023) from Indian citizens for the period of one year (2023-2024) can apply. Regular candidates who have completed their educational qualification during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 are eligible to apply. If you have done post-graduation then you are not eligible to apply.

Selection process

The selection process includes academic merit/written test/interview, and document verification as required.

Final selected candidates will have to produce a valid police verification certificate from their previous place of residence (at least for the last year) or permanent address at the time of joining.

Salary

Graduate Apprentice: Rs 9,000 per month

Diploma Apprentice: Rs 8,000 per month

Trade apprentices with stipend rates set by the government.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023

Candidates have to register on the DRDO portal and submit a scanned copy of the application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A) to email id: admin.dept.nstl@gov.in.

Things to note:

Candidates have to bring their original certificates at the time of selection/document verification.

Bring a signed printout of the application along with the documents submitted online at the time of joining NSTL, Visakhapatnam.

Applications received after the last date will not be accepted.
