LPG Gas: Major relief to domestic LPG consumers, last date for e-KYC extended

The government has given a big relief to domestic gas consumers. Let us inform you that e-KYC has been made mandatory for consumers having domestic cylinders. As per the information about the last date on Sunday, consumers kept reaching the concerned agencies throughout the day. The date was extended.
After getting the information about the date extension till 23 August in the afternoon, the consumers heaved a sigh of relief. As per the order issued by the petroleum companies, 16 August was fixed as the last date for e-KYC.

Petroleum companies had made it clear that those who failed to complete their e-KYC by the
due date would be provided domestic cylinders at the same rate as commercial cylinders. As soon as the agencies opened in the morning, consumers began arriving.

Complete e-KYC like this:
The connection holder must arrive at the agency with their gas company's book and registered mobile number. After verification from the company's records, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Once the OTP is verified, the beneficiary's e-KYC process will be completed.
