A major revelation has emerged in the alleged love jihad and blackmail case in Bhopal, where several young women were reportedly trapped, raped, and blackmailed by an organized network. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has completed its three-day probe and submitted a detailed report to Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister and Governor.
The investigation, led by former Jharkhand DGP Nirmal Kaur, highlighted that the victims were not only sexually exploited but were also pressured to convert. The NCW suspects the involvement of an organized network, possibly supported by foreign funding, operating under the guise of educational initiatives.
Key Findings of the NCW Report:
- Multiple girls were lured with luxury items, branded clothes, and expensive gifts.
- The accused often posed as students or influencers with unusually lavish lifestyles, raising suspicion of links to drug trade or illegal funding.
- Private colleges and institutions may be complicit, misusing government land and schemes to run a fraudulent education racket.
- Victims were allegedly taken to Club 90 restaurant, where they were drugged and raped. Videos were later used to blackmail and coerce them into conversion.
Arrests Made, But One Accused on the Run
Police have arrested Farhan, along with Shad, Ali, Sahil, and Nabeel, while another key accused, Abrar, remains absconding. Authorities are actively pursuing leads to uncover the entire network. The report calls for a deep investigation and strict legal action.
Crackdown Begins: Club 90 Demolished
In a major administrative move, the illegal section of Club 90, where many of the crimes were allegedly committed, has been demolished and sealed. So far, six girls have formally filed complaints, and more victims may come forward as the investigation unfolds.
