How to create an IRCTC account?
First of all, go to the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in click on the option of registration, and select Individual. If you don't understand something then click here.
Now a form will open in front of you, enter the user name in it. For example, if your name is Mukesh then you can create your ID with the name Mukeshtkt.
After this, enter the password (you have to create the password yourself, do not enter the email password) and then confirm the password. (Write down the username and password)
Now the security question (insert security question). You will get many options for this. Then enter the answer to the security question and select the language.
After this enter your full name in personal details. Here give the same name which is in the Aadhaar card.
After this, provide gender information whether you are female, male, or transgender.
After this, information like date of birth, occupation, e-mail ID, mobile number, and home address will have to be given.
After this an OTP will come on the mobile number and your account will be created.
After this, you will be able to book tickets by logging into www.irctc.co.in or the Rail Connect app using your name and password.
