Karwa Chauth 2023 Sargi Recipe: In order to avoid feeling hungry during the fast, women often eat such things during Sargi, which without doubt fills the stomach, but later they feel lazy throughout the day along with bloating, gas, acidity. While some women do not feel like eating in the morning, they prefer to eat just water or juice and some dry fruits, due to which they feel weak later. Both these options are wrong. Oats Kheer

Ingredients - Oats- 150 grams, Milk- 300 ml, Honey- 1 tsp (as desired), Green cardamom- 1, Dry fruits of your choice.

- Keep milk boiling in the pan. As soon as the first boil comes, slow down the gas.

Now add oats to it and cook on low flame while stirring continuously.

When the texture of the kheer becomes a little thick, add sugar and cardamom powder to it.

After adding sugar, cook for some more time.

- Remove from gas, add dry fruits of your choice and serve hot.

Oats Cheela

Ingredients - Ground oats - 1 cup, Gram flour - 3 tbsp, Water - as required, Kasuri fenugreek - 1 tsp, Onion - 1 chopped, Tomato - 1 chopped, Green chilli - 1-2 finely chopped, Fresh coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon, salt- as per taste, garam masala- 1/2 teaspoon, turmeric- 1/4 teaspoon

- Mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl. Make batter by adding water slowly. Note that the batter should neither be too thick nor thin.

- Keep the non-stick pan for heating. Now spread the batter by pouring it with a big spoon.

- When one side becomes slightly golden, turn it and cook the other side.

- Serve with chutney or sauce.

Oats-Carrot Kheer

Ingredients – Roasted oats – 150 grams, Milk – 300 ml, Grated carrots – 50 grams, Honey – 1 tsp (as desired), Green cardamom – 1, Orange zest – 1 tsp, Chopped almonds – 5-6

Make like this

- First fry the oats lightly.

- Keep the milk in the pan to boil.

- After it comes to a boil, add grated carrots and cook for about 10 minutes.

- After this it is the turn to add oats in it. After adding oats, keep stirring continuously.

When the kheer becomes a little thick, add honey, cardamom powder and orange zest to it.

- Let it cook for three to four more minutes.

- After this add chopped almonds and serve hot.
