It is said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. If we are not healthy then we cannot do any work properly. Many lifestyle changes are necessary to stay healthy. When it comes to staying healthy, eating healthy is very important. Often we assume that eating healthy means eating food without taste or that we have to give up our favourite foods to eat healthy, but in reality it is not so. If we tell you that you can stay healthy even by eating sweets, then probably you will not agree to this. What you are eating for a healthy diet matters, but at the same time, how you are eating, and how much you are eating, matters more.

Ayurvedic expert DrDeekshaBhavsar has given information about this from her Instagram account. Let us know that by following these tips, you can stay healthy even while eating your favourite foods.

Eat in moderation

When you eat food out of guilt or greed, your hunger is not satisfied quickly. Whatever you are eating, if you eat it in moderation, and do not put yourself in guilt while eating, then you will automatically eat less. 'I eat this food today....will not get it from tomorrow'....keeping such thoughts in your mind while eating, your hunger does not go away quickly and you end up overeating.

Drink lukewarm water

Drink lukewarm water for half an hour after eating your favourite food. This helps in digestion. To stay healthy, it is very important to digest food properly. Lukewarm water helps in the proper breakdown, digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Eat sweet like this

Although it is better to avoid sweets for weight loss, if you like sweets, then eat sweets for lunch, do not eat them for dinner. Also, keep in mind the number of sweets. Apart from this, on the days when you are including sweets in your diet or eating any of your favourite food which is heavy, keep your dinner very light.

Drink this healthy drink after eating

Drink mint, curry leaves and ginger tea an hour after eating. Curry leaves, mint and ginger all help in digestion. Take 7-10 curry leaves, a handful of mint leaves and a small piece of ginger. Pour it into a glass of water. Boil it for 2-3 minutes. Filter it and drink it. You will get relief from bloating after eating, indigestion and many other problems.
