Life these days has become like a fast-paced race, office work, household responsibilities, and on top of that the never-ending hustle and bustle - it seems as if we have forgotten ourselves. The first victim in this race is our body. Sometimes pain in the back, sometimes stiffness in the shoulders, sometimes prickling pain in the kneesā€¦ all these problems trouble us.

But do you know that according to Ayurveda, the reason for all this can be the imbalance of 'Vata Dosha' in our body. Ayurveda expert Dr. Dimple Jangra on her Instagram account has given 3 easy ways to remove the imbalance of Vata so that you feel full of energy again. Let us know about him.

1. Eat less raw and dry food
Raw foods put more stress on the digestive system. The body has to work harder to digest these. Additionally, they increase dryness and dryness in the body, which increases pain sensitivity. Instead of raw food, take hot, well-cooked food, that has mild spices, light salt, and an adequate amount of moisture. For example, a bowl of porridge is like a warm hug for your stomach and helps in reducing body aches.

2. Avoid sour things
Sour foods like lemon, tomato, tamarind, apple cider vinegar, tangerine (orange-like fruit), tamarind etc. also increase your sensitivity towards pain. This happens because your nervous system becomes more sensitive when there are sour substances in the body. You must have noticed that when a child licks a lemon, he shrinks his mouth. Similarly, when you eat too many sour things, your nervous system also gets irritated.

3. Massage with garlic oil
Boil a garlic clove, along with the peel, in olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil, or sesame oil (any oil available in the kitchen). Take it while it is still slightly warm. Massage it all over the body and sit in the sun for at least 20 minutes. This increases the absorption of Vitamin D in the body. It helps reduce pain and strengthen and lubricate joints, muscles and nerves.
