Sabudana Khichdi is very popular as a fruit dish. Apart from being rich in fiber, it is also excellent in taste. After eating this, one does not feel hungry for a long time. It is consumed during fasts in many homes. It is also easy to make. This dish is ready in minutes. If you are also fasting then Sabudana Khichdi can be a great option.

Ingredients
Sabudana – 1 bowl
Peanuts – 1/2 bowl
Potato – 1
Cumin – 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 1 tablespoon
Lemon – 1
Curry leaves – 7-8
Green chilli chopped – 2
Ghee/oil – 1 tablespoon
Rock salt – as per taste

Recipe
- First of all, wash the sago and soak it in water for 2-3 hours, so that the sago softens and swells properly.
During this time, put peanuts in a pan and dry roast them.
- After this, crush the peanuts, remove the peels, and grind them coarsely.


Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and crackle.
- After this add curry leaves, green chillies, and fry. Now add cut potatoes and fry well.
It will take 2-3 minutes to roast the potatoes. When the potatoes become soft, add soaked sago to it and mix with a ladle.
- After this, cover the pan and let the sago cook for 4-5 minutes. During this time, keep stirring the sago from time to time, so that it does not stick to the pan.
- Now add coarsely ground peanuts, green coriander leaves, and rock salt as per taste and mix well with the help of a ladle.
After this, squeeze lemon juice and let the khichdi cook for 2-3 minutes more.
- Now turn off the gas. Sabudana Khichdi is ready. Garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve it with curd.
