Disadvantages of using room heaters
- If you keep the heater or blower running in the room for a long time, the level of carbon monoxide in the room increases, which can cause chest pain in people suffering from heart disease. Due to this the problem may increase.
- If you use a gas heater, the risk of death in your sleep is higher. Too much carbon monoxide in the room can disrupt the blood supply to the brain, causing bleeding and death.
- Being in a heater may make you feel comfortable but it can dry out your skin. The skin may lose moisture, which may cause redness, irritation and itching.
- Humidity decreases and due to this, there may be a problem of dryness in your eyes, due to which there may be irritation in the eyes, watery eyes, itching and redness.
- Room heaters with rods can cause potential fire accidents.
