For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of the Food Supply Department of your state.

Second step
Understand it like this if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh, then you have to go to the official website of the Food Supply Department of your state https://fcs.up.gov.in/
After going to the portal, you will see many types of options here
You have to click on the option 'Add the name of a new member in ration card' among these

Third step
After this, an application form will come in front of you
You have to fill this form and fill in the complete information of the person whose name is to be added to it, such as full name, age, etc.
After this, you have to upload the relevant documents here and deposit the fee.
Then your application is checked by the department and then the name is added to your ration card It gets added.

If you are adding someone's name to your ration card, then you need some documents. For example, to add a child's name, you need a birth certificate.

You need a passport-size photo of the head of the ration card holder.

You also need an Aadhaar card.
